Our Odessa Staff
Randy Pat Russell, Au.D., CCC-A, FAAA
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Russell moved to Odessa in 1975 and opened the doors of Audio Acoustics Hearing Centers. He later opened offices in Midland, Lubbock, Plainview, and Roswell. He graduated with his Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University in Arizona in the Summer of 2011. He graduated with his Master of Arts degree from Memphis State University in 1973. He graduated from Hardin Simmons University with his Bachelor of Arts in 1971.
Dr. Russell is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (FAAA) and serves on the Board of Directors as PAC treasurer of the Texas Academy of Audiology. He holds the national certification, the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) and is state board licensed. In addition to serving patients in the Odessa office, Dr. Russell also provides services at outlying clinics in Big Spring, Pecos, Ft. Stockton, Monahans and Alpine.
Dr. Russell and his wife Patsy have been married for thirty-seven years. He has two children and four grandchildren. He is a member at Mission Dorado Baptist Church where he serves as the chairman of the deacons. He is also an active member of the Gideons, where he is past president and has served on many committees. Dr. Russell enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and golf.
Patricia is the office manager and has worked here since 1991. She is the first smiling face that will greet you when you walk through our doors. She was born and raised in West Texas and has lived in Odessa since 1969.
She is the proud mother of a son and enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading, talking on the phone and she loves to play Bingo. Patricia is known for something very special and rare… She will remember your name after the first time you visit. This means that every experience at Audio Acoustics Hearing Centers in Odessa is inviting and very personable.
Our Midland Staff
Orland Purcell, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Purcell grew up in Floyd, New Mexico, a small town 16 miles west of Portales. After high school, Orland graduated from Eastern New Mexico University where he met his wife Sheryll. They have been married since 1980 and have two children who are each married, and also have two grandchildren.
Shortly after they married in 1980, the Purcells moved to Norman, Oklahoma where Orland graduated with a Master of Science Degree from the University of Oklahoma.
Shortly after graduation, Orland and Sheryll relocated to the Permian Basin and have lived in Midland since 1986. Upon relocating to the Permian Basin, Orland began working with Audio Acoustics Hearing Centers.
Dr. Purcell is the co-owner of Audio Acoustics.
When Orland is out of the office, he enjoys golfing, spending time with fellow church members, and spending time with his family.
Ginger Peugh, Au.D.
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Peugh, a Lubbock native, attended Lubbock Christian University to earn her undergraduate degree in Psychology before attending Texas Tech Health Sciences Center to earn her Doctor of Audiology degree. As an Audiologist at Audio Acoustics, Dr. Peugh states, “I have the opportunity to collaborate with patients and help improve their daily communication needs, thus enhancing their interpersonal relationships. We also contract with local school districts to ensure students with hearing loss can achieve their highest academic potential by providing them full access to the educational curriculum. It is a great pleasure of mine to be able to witness the educational and social progress these students make throughout their academic career.”
Dr. Peugh and her husband Brady, who is a 5th grade teach at Greenwood Independent School District, have been married since 2007 and have three young children and “two dogs that keep us on the go!” As well, Dr. Peugh enjoys spending time with her family and football season — cheering on the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Jason Simpson, CAOHC certified
Jason, our Director of Industrial Services, grew up in Midland but moved to Abilene in 2002, where he met his wife Kimberly. Jason and Kim have been married for 11 years and have two outstanding children. After living in Abilene for 8 years, Jason and Kim moved back to Midland to pursue a career with Audio Acoustics Testing & Diagnostics. On a normal day with Audio Acoustics, Jason makes sure that clients stay up to date on their annual testing by scheduling clients daily. He also oversees respirator fit testing and pulmonary function testing in our industrial department.
Sydonua, has worked for Audio Acoustics since March of 2003. While a Lubbock native, she has lived in Midland since 1985. She has 3 children, and 5 grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, spending time with family and doing yard work.
